DISCMAX

The Efficient Short-Disc Harrow for Stubble Working

Efficiency and Cut Quality

KNOCHE's DISCMAX stands for power and flexibility: KNOCHE's DISCMAX short-disc harrows ensure simple and optimal soil cultivation.

DISCMAX - DWB

The compact DISCMAX - DWB solution, available in 125 cm and 150 cm working widths, is designed for vineyards, orchards, and specialty crops in narrow fields and rows. Each model shares the same technical strengths: a sturdy frame made of fine-grained steel, generous disc spacing for clog-free operation, and the option to choose from a selection of roller profiles. Also available on the DWB: a hydraulic side disc for precise work within the rows.

DISCMAX-E

The DISCMAX-E is the affordable alternative to the new CROSSMAX. With an optimized frame, it remains a simply designed, lightweight machine for smaller tractors and versatile operations. Available in working widths of 2.50 m and 3.00 m, the DISCMAX-E offers a good cost-benefit ratio in the field. With a 510 mm serrated disc and a selection of trailing rollers, it ensures efficient work in the field.

The first step

Stubble cultivation is the crucial first step in the next crop cycle. The serrated discs of the DISCMAX effectively cut through crop residues, break capillary action, and prevent unnecessary moisture loss. At the same time, organic matter is evenly incorporated into the soil—the foundation for rapid decomposition and a healthy soil structure.

Rugged Bearing Technology

At the heart of every DISCMAX is the bearing technology developed by KNOCHE. The high-performance double tapered roller bearings with quadruple sealing reliably protect against dust, moisture, and plant debris. The combination of axial and radial seals, a sheet-metal labyrinth, and grease lubrication ensures a long service life and minimal maintenance intervals—an advantage you’ll appreciate for years to come.

Adapts to any surface

With a working depth of 3 to 15 cm, the DISCMAX covers the entire spectrum from shallow stubble cultivation to intensive mixing. The hydraulic depth adjustment allows for convenient fine-tuning. This enables the machine to respond flexibly to varying soil conditions, residual crop amounts, and work objectives.

Rollers and Accessories for Compact Disc Harrows

Choosing the right roller is crucial for soil reconsolidation and the finish of soil preparation. With seven different roller profiles, the DISCMAX can be precisely tailored to the farm, soil type, and crop. Optional front tools, harrows, and edge plates further expand its range of applications.
