DISCMAX-FW

The Specialist for Large Areas

The DISCMAX-FW mounted compact disc harrow is designed specifically for large areas and adapts perfectly to soil conditions.

The DISCMAX-FW compact disc harrow is a sturdy machine with a robust undercarriage that has been used successfully in Europe for many years. The wide selection of rollers allows it to be used on light, medium, and heavy soils. Thanks to an extensive range of accessories, the DISCMAX-FW can also be adapted to challenging conditions. The chassis can be equipped with tires up to a width of 500/55-20. This significantly reduces ground pressure, which is a major advantage on sensitive soils.

The DISCMAX-FW short-disc harrows are available as mounted units in working widths ranging from 3 m to 9 m.

Well-designed and robust technology

The DISCMAX-FW compact disc harrows are a combination of a compact disc harrow and a conventional disc harrow. These user-friendly machines feature a robust frame, a low-maintenance KNOCHE double tapered roller bearings, and excellent maneuverability thanks to their central undercarriage.

Enormous beam spacing

The DISCMAX-FW is characterized by an exceptionally wide spacing between the tines. The distance from the first to the second row of tines is 1.55 m. This has the advantage that the machine runs extremely smoothly and does not require a impact harrow, since the material settles on its own before being processed by the second row. The distance to the roller is similarly wide, resulting in a machine that works and mixes very effectively.

The first step

The serrated discs, with diameters of up to 610 mm, ensure optimal penetration into the soil. Shallow stubble cultivation is the crucial first step in the next crop cycle. The large serrated discs of the DISCMAX cut crop residues across the entire surface, break capillary action, and prevent unnecessary moisture loss. At the same time, organic matter is evenly incorporated—the foundation for rapid decomposition and a healthy soil structure.

Pure Power

A working width of up to 6 meters, combined with exceptionally smooth operation, delivers tremendous performance. Whether for early stubble cultivation, incorporating cover crops, or working a plow furrow.

Innovative and space-saving folding mechanism

The DISCMAX-FW features a sophisticated folding mechanism. It is always folded onto a 3-meter base machine. This gives the machine a low center of gravity during transport. It can also be parked safely and in a space-saving manner.
