Optimal and precise depth control
The PROMAX seed bed combination is characterized by its parallelogram-guided tine assembly. This tine assembly can be adjusted optimally and precisely to the exact depth required by the seed.
Leveling, loosening, and reconsolidating—all in a single pass
An optimal seedbed is the key to uniform crop emergence and consistent yields. The KNOCHE PROMAX seed bed combination combines leveling, loosening, reconsolidation, and crumbling of the soils in a single pass. Whether in light sandy soil or heavy clay—a variety of tines ensure an optimal seedbed structure that provides the best possible bed for the seed and protects it from drying out, allowing the roots to get off to a quick start. Its lightweight design, versatile tool options, and parallelogram-guided depth controls make it a reliable partner for farmers who refuse to compromise.

Soil conservation is essential, especially right after plowing a furrow. That’s where the PROMAX comes in. With its light operating weight of less than 2 metric tons for the 6-meter model, it combines high performance with a light operating weight. Your soil and your yield will thank you for it.
Every type of soil and seedbed requires a different approach. That’s why the PROMAX offers five different types of tine attachments. Whether you need Germinator tines, harrow tines, spring tines DK, PF tines, or W tines, there’s the right tool for every type of soil and seedbed.
The sturdy frame construction and balanced weight distribution ensure smooth operation even at high working speeds. Even on uneven terrain, the working depth remains constant and the seedbed structure remains uniform.
The dual crumbler, consisting of a 360-mm flat bar roller and a 310-mm crumbler roller, ensures effective reconsolidation and crumbling. This promotes good drainage, gas-air exchange, and rapid warming of the seedbed. Alternatively, the flat bar roller can be used on its own or in combination with a harrow—perfect for a false seedbed.
