Sleek, economical, SPEEDMAX

Reduce costs with the SPEEDMAX knife roller

The SPEEDMAX knife roller is a real ace when it comes to reducing stubble cultivation costs. Compared to cultivation with a mulcher, the knife roller can save a lot of money per hectare. Rapeseed stubble, corn stubble, and catch crops are often chopped with a mulcher. However, this is very time-consuming and fuel-intensive. The SPEEDMAX, on the other hand, has the advantage of its enormous power, which means that any harvest residues can be chopped at a speed of up to 25 km/h with only approx. 3-5 liters of diesel per hectare.

In this example, a SPEEDMAX 450 could process around 9 ha per hour at a working speed of 20 km/h under optimal conditions (field size, topography, soil, etc.), consuming 3-5 l of diesel per hectare. A front and rear mulcher combination of a similar size would process around 3.6 ha per hour at 8 km/h.
