SPEEDMAX

Unique knife roller for unrivaled residual plant shredding

Sleek, efficient, SPEEDMAX —optimal shredding of all organic plant waste!

When it comes to knife rollers, look no further than SPEEDMAX: Thanks to its unique ground-following capability, achieved through the hydraulic buffer system and bogie suspension, the SPEEDMAX sets new standards. Furthermore, dividing the working width into sections just 75 cm wide ensures ground-following performance that remains unmatched.

Discover the other benefits of the SPEEDMAX ...

Whether it's corn stubble, rapeseed stubble, or cover crops.

Well-suited for many crops.
Whether in corn stubs, cover crops, rapeseed stubs, sunflowers, or vegetables—the SPEEDMAX is ideally suited for many types of organic plant residues. And it’s very economical, often requiring only 3–5 liters of diesel per hectare.

The shortest cutting distance on the market.

For small scraps.
The SPEEDMAX is equipped with 10 blades at the front and 11 blades at the rear, with a diameter of 390 mm. This gives it the narrowest cutting gap on the market at just 11 cm.
Thanks to this narrow cutting width, the SPEEDMAX ensures that the fine topsoil is literally "snipped away." This effectively mixes soil with organic matter for good decomposition.

The hydraulic buffer system

For unmatched ground adaptation.
Each element of the SPEEDMAX is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder. These cylinders are all interconnected. If ruts or unevenness occur, the pressure from the other cylinders flows into the cylinder running in the rut, actively guiding that element into the unevenness with force. This allows the system to reach nearly all uneven areas that a rigid beam would not be able to reach. And best of all, the system does not need to be connected to the tractor while working.

The bogie articulation

Optimal adaptation to transverse unevenness
Each of the 75 cm wide elements can adjust forward and backward via the bogie articulation to accommodate unevenness across the direction of travel. Combined with the hydraulic buffer system, this makes height differences of up to 25 cm no problem.

Unmatched ground adaptation

Multiple and active adaptation to the soil.
Thanks to the unique division of the working width into elements just 75 cm wide, the SPEEDMAX can handle ground irregularities where a rigid cutter bar would be unable to operate. Even half a centimeter makes all the difference in cutting performance.

Whether at the front or the rear

Combined with a cultivator and disc harrow, or used on its own.
When mounted on the front and combined with a compact disc harrow or a cultivator, the SPEEDMAX integrates perfectly into existing work sequences. This reduces the number of passes and increases efficiency. But the SPEEDMAX also performs excellently when mounted on the rear.

*The EW control unit is only required for the initial setup of the hydraulic buffer system, not during machine operation.

Technical Note:
When operating the machine in front-mounted configuration on public roads, the requirements of the StVZO regarding the clear field of vision and the maximum vehicle length to the front must always be observed. The manufacturer cannot guarantee compliance with these requirements. For this reason, operation on public roads in the Federal Republic of Germany is not permitted when the machine is mounted at the front. For other countries, the respective national legal regulations must be observed; compliance with such regulations cannot be guaranteed.
